University almunus Dr. Josef Ackermann made it possible through his generous donation: In summer 2022 the concept of the St.Gallen collegium was tested successfully. Three working groups focussed on the question of social cohesion.
This excellency program is financed exclusively through donations. If you want to contribute to our research, you can find the form here:
"As an African myself, I had the opportunity to participate in the test run together with people from the Middle East, Latin America and Europe. I experienced a balanced and diverse representation of narratives and found a better access point to understanding the world through the collegium."
Isreal Wínlàdé, Leader of Tomorrow '22 and student
The test run was conducted as a follow-up in cooperation with the St.Gallen Symposium. Together with representatives of the Club of Rome, the fellows worked on the principles of a new generational contract. These principles were presented on the occasion of the 52nd Symposium.

In the future, fellows will publish the findings from their community project in a public and creative way - as an exhibition or in a public forum, as a podcast or an innovative publication.
The St.Gallen collegium works together with SQUARE and the general university to include the fellows in public activities, to cultivate the exchange with the HSGCommunity and to enrich our research.
Fellows from the fields of economy, culture and social studies use the insights from their time at the St.Gallen collegium for future practical tasks.
